A course tailored for orthopedic engineers. Participants will become familiar with Rhino’s interface and modeling tools. Initially, we focus on the basic principles of NURBS modeling, and deal with ground-breaking technologies that make it possible to build lightweight lattice structures that can be 3d-printed efficiently. The course aims to actively use both digital and physical models. There will be opportunity to 3d print a sample that is modeled in the course.

Rhino 8 has new functions to turn 3d-scan data into models that are easier to work with. This creates the foundation to make precise 3D models, which can be used in production. The course will also be suitable for shoe designers.
