Rhino User Webinar: Computational Modelling of existing tunnels with Rhino and Grasshopper

In this webinar Mattia Bressanelli, R&D Lead at TECNESYSTRA Advanced Tunneling, will showcase computational modelling of existing tunnels, which have challenging geometries, using custom-built grasshopper components. This demonstrates the power of Rhino and Grasshopper as a development platform for the linear infrastructures sector.

Mattia Bressanelli is a building engineer focused on computational design and software development. He studied at Politecnico di Milano, began his career in the building energy and sustainability industry, working with dynamic modeling and CFD, then switched to the highway infrastructure industry, in the R&D department, first for a highway managing company, then for the present engineering company.

TECNESYSTRA Advanced Tunneling was established in 2022, with the aim of creating a highly specialized tunneling hub capable of developing state-of-the-art technical solutions for the infrastructure sector.
