SUMMARY:Grasshopper MCP using Murmurate
DESCRIPTION:What you’ll learn\nUse MCP (the Model Context Protocol) with Grasshopper and Rhino without abandoning the definitions you’ve built over years. With Murmurate\, our Rhino and Grasshopper plugin\, you’ll convert a real definition into a tool an AI assistant can find and run: wrap the logic in an AI tool component\, declare the inputs and outputs that matter\, publish it to your tool library\, and call it from your preferred LLM client in plain language. \nThere is no configuration file\, terminal\, API key or code to write\, and authoring never leaves the Grasshopper canvas. You’ll also learn what MCP is and why it matters for computational designers\, how a tool is structured so an assistant knows how to run it\, how results come back into Rhino and Grasshopper\, and how to test\, refine and deploy responsibly.\n  \nWhat you’ll cover\n\nWhat MCP is and why it matters for designers\nAn introduction to Murmurate\, our Rhino and Grasshopper plugin\nAnatomy of a tool: typed inputs\, outputs and the descriptions an assistant reads\nWrapping an existing definition as a callable tool\, without leaving Grasshopper\nPublishing to a tool library and connecting an LLM client (Claude Desktop\, Claude Code or any MCP client)\nData and geometry exchange\, testing and limits\n\n \nView details & book →

SUMMARY:[Free Webinar] Rhino 8 + AI: Beyond Prompting\, Automate Grasshopper with the Official MCP
DESCRIPTION:Rhino and Grasshopper can now connect to AI through the official MCP. Are you ready to see what that means for your Rhino workflow? \nThis webinar is an introduction to Rhino + AI through the official MCP. If you joined our session in May\, you saw what was possible with a non-official MCP. This time we’ll show what changes when the connection is official: it’s faster\, more accurate and uses fewer tokens. \nJust as importantly\, it goes beyond asking an LLM to draw something in Rhino\, because it includes Grasshopper. AI can call and automate Grasshopper definitions\, not only run scripts. \nYou’ll see how AI\, through the official MCP\, can help you:\n🔹 Create and adapt parametric geometry in seconds\n🔹 Apply real-world design rules without manual lookups\n🔹 Iterate designs step by step\, naturally\n🔹 Turn 2D references into early 3D concepts\n🔹 Make sense of complex models through analysis and organisation\n🔹 Automate layouts and technical drawings\n🔹 Build and edit Grasshopper definitions from a plain-language description\n🔹 Turn repeated workflows into Grasshopper definitions\, then keep designing in Rhino \nWe’ll also share best practices\, current limitations\, and where this approach shines most in real projects. \n📅 22 Oct\, 2 – 2:45 PM AEDT\n⏰ 45 minutes | Live demos + Q&A \nIf you’re curious how Rhino and Grasshopper can work with AI in a more capable and reliable way\, this is a session worth seeing. \nRegister now!

See how to turn topographic data into a terrain model you can actually design with. \nWhether you are designing a building site\, public space\, infrastructure\, urban development\, park\, or landscape project\, understanding and modifying the existing terrain is often a fundamental part of the design process. \nIn this free webinar\, we’ll explore how RhinoLands extends Rhino with dedicated tools for terrain modeling\, grading\, and earthwork calculations. \nStarting from contour lines\, points\, or other topographic data\, we’ll build a 3D terrain and then move into practical grading operations to adapt the land to a proposed design. \nYou’ll see how to: \nGenerate accurate 3D terrain from contours\, points\, and other source data.\nReshape existing topography directly within Rhino.\nCreate grading operations for platforms\, roads\, paths\, and other site interventions.\nDefine and control slopes and elevations.\nAnalyze cut and fill as the design develops.\nCalculate earthwork volumes and areas for individual terrain operations. \nThe session is aimed at Rhino users working with sites and topography—including architects\, civil engineers\, urban designers and planners\, and landscape architects—who want a more specialized terrain workflow while remaining in the familiar Rhino environment. \nBring the terrain into your Rhino workflow—and start designing with it\, not around it. \nSeptember 29 at 17:00 CEST \nRegister for the webinar
