SUMMARY:Rhino Level 2 for Jewellery Design – Certified Online Training Course
DESCRIPTION:Following on from the Beginner Rhino Level 1 for Jewellery Design course\, this jewellery CAD training course is intended for those already have some experience with Rhino NURBS modelling software\, and who wish to add intermediate tools and techniques onto their existing jewellery CAD design and manufacturing working process. \nThis course serves as a jewellery-specific replacement for the more general Rhino Level 2 course\, focusing on the same intermediate and advanced concepts around NURBS topology\, advanced surfacing\, SubD Modelling\, and other efficient modelling techniques for skilled users. \nWhile this course contains most of the same concepts as the Rhino Level 2 course\, the emphasis in this course has been reoriented towards working within a jewellery design and manufacturing context\, so the exercises and emphasis on choice of tools and problem-solving strategies have been adjusted accordingly. All trainees receive an Official Certificate on completion and all courses are delivered by the most experienced Rhino trainers in the UK. \nThis course begins by reviewing the key commands and solid modelling strategies as discussed in the Rhino Level 1 for Jewellery course. We then break down the fundamental logic of controlling NURBS surfaces in Rhino\, and how to use this information to build clean\, optimised geometry and control freeform shapes for NURBS surface sculpture and filigree. \nWe then introduce the Rhino SubD interface along with a building strategy for using these new SubD tools to complement your solid and surface modelling strategies. Throughout these exercises\, we will discuss important tolerance considerations for 3D printing models to use in precious metals casting. We will also discuss advanced mesh controls for exporting STL files for rapid prototyping (such as 3D printing). Creating 2D line drawings from a 3D model and printing methods will also be considered. \nCourse Dates + Time:\nThis RL1 Jewellery course consists of 7-sessions | 10:00-13:00 (UK Time) on the following dates: Monday 7th September\, Monday 14th September\, Monday 21st September\, Monday 28th September\, Monday 5th October\, Monday 12th October and Monday 19th October.

SUMMARY:Grasshopper G-Code for 3D printing
DESCRIPTION:Combine the flexibility of Grasshopper with the precision of G-code. Aimed to generate custom G-code for controlling 3 axis FDM 3d printers\, that could also be applied to other CNC machines as milling machines. \nPROGRAM \nThe course is scheduled in 6 modules\, 3 per day: \nModule #1 is an introduction to G-Code’s structure\, firmware\, FDM 3d printing and its configuration inside Grasshopper in its most common workflows. \nModule #2 understands the main G orders in G-code and we will set a first file in Grasshopper for custom 3D printing using spiralized mode. \nModule #3 is related to visualization\, non-planar 3d printing with isocurves and the consequent variable flow. \nModule #4 adds more complex features as bases\, travels and retractions in Grasshopper. \nModule #5 works on wavy models\, attractors using pictures\, and wireframe mode. \nModule #6 explains some study cases\, as well as some time for questions and doubts of the attendance.

SUMMARY:Rhino + Grasshopper for Architecture
DESCRIPTION:A hands-on workshop introducing Rhino3D and Grasshopper as tools for parametric and computational design in architecture. Participants move from core modeling fundamentals into algorithmic thinking\, building geometry that responds to logic and data\, not just manual input. \nDrawing directly from live facade\, fabrication\, and panelization projects run across five countries\, the workshop covers parametric modeling\, data structures in Grasshopper\, and real design-to-fabrication workflows. Not isolated tool tutorials. By the end\, participants can construct their own computational design logic and apply it to real architectural problems. \nIdeal for: architecture students\, design faculty\, and professionals looking to move beyond static 3D modeling into responsive\, rule-based design.

SUMMARY:food4Rhino webinar: Designing for People using Kova PedSim: A Social Pedestrian Simulation in Grasshopper3D
DESCRIPTION:People are at the heart of every architecture and design project\, yet predicting how they will move through and experience that environment continues to be a fundamental challenge. In this webinar\, Puja Bhagat and Jonathan Wong introduce Kova PedSim\, a socially driven\, agent-based pedestrian simulation plugin for Grasshopper3D that brings human behavior into the design process from the earliest stages. Rather than treating pedestrian analysis as a final validation step\, Kova PedSim enables designers to explore how movement\, social interactions\, and spatial experiences evolve alongside their design. \nThrough a live demonstration\, attendees will learn how Kova PedSim’s simulation engines can model pedestrian movement across urban and architectural scales\, generate meaningful analytical outputs\, and integrate seamlessly into parametric workflows. \nSpeakers: \n– Puja Bhagat is a computational designer who holds an M.Arch in Emergent Technologies and Design from the Architectural Association and a B.Arch from Penn State University. Her work focuses on bridging design\, simulation\, and behavior to support more informed\, human-centered design decisions. By integrating the physical and digital realms\, she develops context-specific and dynamically adaptive solutions that foster interconnected spaces. \n– Jonathan Wong is a computational designer who holds an M.Arch in Emergent Technologies and Design from the Architectural Association\, and a B.Arch and a B.S. in Mathematics from Penn State University. His work focuses on developing computational workflows and digital tools to enable architects and designers to make informed\, data-driven decisions at every stage of the design process. He is particularly interested in transforming complex analytical methods into intuitive tools that support better design outcomes.

SUMMARY:Terrain Modeling & Grading in Rhino with RhinoLands
DESCRIPTION:September 29\, 2026 — 17:00 CEST (Check your local time) \nWorking with real terrain in Rhino? See how to turn topographic data into a terrain model you can actually design with. \nWhether you are designing a building site\, public space\, infrastructure\, urban development\, park\, or landscape project\, understanding and modifying the existing terrain is often a fundamental part of the design process. \nIn this free webinar\, we’ll explore how RhinoLands extends Rhino with dedicated tools for terrain modeling\, grading\, and earthwork calculations. \nStarting from contour lines\, points\, or other topographic data\, we’ll build a 3D terrain and then move into practical grading operations to adapt the land to a proposed design. \nYou’ll see how to: \nGenerate accurate 3D terrain from contours\, points\, and other source data.\nReshape existing topography directly within Rhino.\nCreate grading operations for platforms\, roads\, paths\, and other site interventions.\nDefine and control slopes and elevations.\nAnalyze cut and fill as the design develops.\nCalculate earthwork volumes and areas for individual terrain operations. \nThe session is aimed at Rhino users working with sites and topography—including architects\, civil engineers\, urban designers and planners\, and landscape architects—who want a more specialized terrain workflow while remaining in the familiar Rhino environment. \nBring the terrain into your Rhino workflow—and start designing with it\, not around it. \nSeptember 29 at 17:00 CEST \nRegister for the webinar

SUMMARY:Turn Rhino.Inside Revit Into a Real Automation Tool for Structural Engineers
DESCRIPTION:Most engineers know Rhino.Inside Revit can do amazing things\, but many struggle to apply it on real projects. In this session\, Muhammad Abrar will share practical examples from industry projects\, showing how Rhino.Inside Revit can automate modeling tasks\, manage project data\, and reduce manual work. \nBenefits: \n1. Spend less time on manual Revit work – See how Rhino.Inside Revit can help structural engineers automate repetitive modeling tasks and avoid rebuilding the same things by hand.\n2. Make Revit data easier to control – Learn how to move and update data between Rhino\, Grasshopper\, and Revit\, so your models are easier to manage and keep up to date.
